4) To make img show on index, Using Plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-add-thumbnail/

P.S I found that old post(before 2018) image as link not attachment,will find a way to make it locally.
If not all image downloaded, just remove successful item in the import xml in the attachment part (at the end of file), and upload it again and again!
